I am a committed and passionate geek with 20+ years’ experience in IT, in roles ranging from hardware technician, test leadership, network and system administrator to transformation, senior business, process, systems and digital analyst roles. My passions are analysis, change support, process improvement, learning new tools, to allow me to be the best analyst I can be, and adapting them to suit stakeholders throughout the business. I believe we can all be leaders, regardless of our position. I am committed to learning, getting stuff done, meeting amazing people and giving back to the community through a program I have instigated called Helping Adelaide's Homeless, involving giving to individuals items that they may need, but not have easy access to. I have also held board positions for The Spence Club, SAPSALSSC, LGITSA BPIN, On the Fly Improvised Theater Group and SA Makers I have extensive event management experience from conception to promotion, a sound background in even branding and social media marketing, and working front of house (both bar and ticket work) over a period of over twenty years.
Contract position, activities included working on facilitating 15 workshops, preliminary market scans, elicitation of high level requirements, demonstrating Salesforce, budget bid preparation, development of test plans, mapping customer communications, and development of a BA facilitation toolkit. Also a member of the LGITSA Business Performance & Improvement Network leadership committee.
As a Senior BA, I was lucky to work with some fascinating clients solving important problems, in fields like Medical Services, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Environmental Protection, Construction, Primary Health Care, Indigenous, Aged & Disability Services, Transit, Facilities, Government, Pharmaceuticals, Mining, Retail, Agriculture, the Public Sector, Not for Profits, & Aviation. In 4 years I worked with over 20 industries, 50 organisations, on over 300 opportunities & projects. I was fortunate enough to work for an organisation with an amazing culture, leadership team, & a genuine passion for their work & clients. Actively engaged regularly in innovation activities & often get to play with neat new hardware for customers. Working with a team of amazing developers some of the larger projects I had the opportunity to lead from an analysis perspective include: Development of Digital Transformation & Data strategy approaches for one of Australia's largest Ag Organisations, & one of Australia's largest medical service providers. Design & replacement of ordering systems for the world's finest supermarkets, & a large wholesale flower vendor. Digitisation for GMP regulated Pharmaceutical processes for a huge international team. A range of market scan, RFP guidance & solution assessment projects. Multiple modern workplace implementation projects - including complex forms, workflows, integrations, teams environment designs, change management & training for much of the Office365 suite. Extension & development of systems for one of Australia's coolest mining companies including a Virtual Assistant. I was also responsible for development of extensive documentations & improved testing approaches for my team, a BA toolkit of over 50 tools, Modern Workplace best practices, training, governance, change management & analysis toolkits. Employee of the quarter winner multiple times, employee of the year nominee twice & multiple shoutouts from both clients & members of the team.
I had the honour of working with the Guildhouse team, and the @mochara team providing training and advice to Guildhouse members in the Social Media, SEO, SEM, Digital Strategy, website development/maintenance space
Highlights including holding an event and campaign that raised nearly 10k in two weeks, including over 60 expert hours and 117 items for a charity auction (no corporate donations), and finding a new home for the space. In addition, dealing with outstanding membership issues, complaints, running strategy sessions, crisis meetings, and assisting in searching for a new residence.
