The $1 billion Chinese Medicine Development Fund is aimed to promote the development of the Chinese medicine sector and Chinese medicine drug industry, and to enhance the overall standard of the industry. The Fund is managed by the Chinese Medicine Unit of the Health Bureau, with the Hong Kong Productivity Council serving as the implementation partner. - Manage the team of Chinese Medicine Development Fund to run the funding effectively. - Monitor projects by following the compliance and guidelines. - Provide technical support and insights related to the Chinese Medicine Development Fund. - Build the pipeline with the Chinese Medicine industry counterparts to promote the projects and enhance the programme. - Conduct analysis of data and apply the stakeholders’ feedback to identify the direction to achieve the targeted performance. - Participate in the project meetings, prepare presentations, reports, budget planning, project expenses, and other related reports. - Develop, manage and deliver new projects in response to Chinese Medicine Industry.
• Provide a thoughtful, fair, constructive, and informative critique of the submitted Chinese Medicine-related content. • Prepare written, unbiased, constructive feedback in a timely manner on Chinese Medicine-related content. • Note any potential personal, financial or perceived conflict of interest, or legal concerns in the Chinese Medicine-related content. • Give health seminars/talks/webinars to various organisations in the private and public sectors.
- Provide oversight on the group clinical governance of Chinese Medicine services to ensure clinical safety, clinical effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. - Formulate and revise Chinese Medicine-related policies, clinical protocols, and standard operating procedure to maintain operational excellence and patient satisfaction. - Direct periodic clinical audit to monitor the implementation of policies, provide assurance of compliance of clinical standards, and ensure legality and conformity to established regulations. - Monitor day-to-day clinic operation and financial performance, and take actions to drive business to meet financial targets. - Investigate and handle feedback and clinical complaints from patients. Oversee patient support processes and improve patient experience through digitization and process simplification. - Organise regular and appropriate training to Chinese Medicine staff to enhance professional development and maintain clinical standard. - Manage agreements with external affiliated clinics and direct regular site visits to external affiliated clinics to ensure them meet the group’s standards. - Being the CM representative to communicate with CM Health authority or government officials. - Participate in recruitment process of Chinese medical practitioners.
