London, England, United Kingdom
I am currently an Academic Clinical Fellow in Cardiology at Oxford University Hospitals. Previously, I served as a postgraduate year 3 resident medical officer with New South Wales Health in Sydney, Australia and a Clinical Fellow in Cardiology in Jersey, Channel Islands. I have a solid foundation in medicine, having completed two years as an academic foundation programme doctor at Imperial College Healthcare Trust and London North West Healthcare Trust. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cambridge in 2015, followed by a PhD Studentship with the British Heart Foundation at the National Heart and Lung Institute, which I completed in 2020. I graduated from the MBBS programme at Imperial College London in 2021. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of presenting at international conferences such as the European Society of Cardiology Congress, International Society of Heart Research, and American Heart Association Scientific Sessions. My goal is to pursue a career in Academic Cardiology upon completing my medical training. In addition to my clinical pursuits, I am passionate about medical education. I am actively involved as the President for the Royal Society of Medicine Trainee Council, the South West representative for the Royal College of Physicians’ Student and Foundation Doctors Network, and serve as an Associate Teacher at Imperial College London. My dedication to this field has been recognised with an Associate Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) and Membership in the Academy of Medical Educators (MAcadMEd). I also founded and serve as President of In2MedSchool, a charitable organisation aimed at widening access to Medicine in the UK. Beyond my medical interests, I am a certified fitness instructor, NHS human tissue distributor, and personal tutor for children aged 11-16.
