Working in the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, I perform diverse duties for the Academic mission of the University. -Built and managed a professional video studio to support developing personalized course videos. Constructed a lightboard to further enhance lecture videos for greater than 50 faculty members. -Designed a self-service lightboard video studio to improve the quality of faculty lecture recordings in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. -Collaborate on course development and redesign initiatives. -Develop and deploy on-demand resources, training, and workshops covering Office365, Kaltura, Microsoft Teams, and Brightspace (Desire2Learn). -Consult with faculty on strategies for technology-enhanced teaching and learning. Offer guidance on best practices informed by research on multimedia in any classroom modality. -Capture video of high-profile events and guest speakers. -Produce live multicamera video broadcasts of high-profile events, such as Commencement Ceremonies. -Consult on purchase of A/V equipment and new classroom technology. -Affordable Learning Georgia (ALG) design champion
