Fort Worth, Texas, United States
I am a passionate advocate for vulnerable populations and social justice. I have my Master's degree in Social Work and have worked for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in several different capacities since 2016. During my time at the agency I have worked with clients facing chemical dependency, mental health conditions, abuse/neglect, and the criminal justice system. In my tenure I have had to maintain positive working relationships with community stakeholders and refer clients to services that meet their individual needs. I am currently working on my Juris Doctorate so that I can expand my advocacy and deepen my impact at the intersection of law and social work.
I take in student tuition payments and post them to their accounts, as well as work and take in departmental deposits.
I spent my Spring Break as an in-house Camp Counselor at Camp Summit. Camp Summit is a camp for people of all ages with special needs.
