Philippines
I built more than 20 years of FMCG sales & commercial leadership experience in the Philippines, spanning national channels, key accounts, general trade, trade marketing and omni-channel retail, while also taking on regional responsibilities across Southeast Asia. Along the way, I learned that most management lessons are learned the hard way. Most sales managers are promoted because they were good at selling. Very few are taught how to lead teams, build operating rhythm, prioritize competing demands, or translate commercial strategy into field execution. The result is predictable: good people work harder, firefight more, and wonder why execution still falls short. Over the years, I found that the difference isn't selling harder. It's commercial discipline—the consistent practice of connecting daily activity to commercial outcomes and building teams that operate with the same clarity. I write about the things I spent years figuring out: • Turning strategy into field execution • Building operating rhythm instead of reacting • Prioritizing when everything feels urgent • Strengthening management for stronger leadership • Leading people, not just managing numbers I'm not a coach or a guru. I'm a sales leader documenting lessons from the field and turning experience into practical frameworks that other managers can borrow instead of learning everything the hard way. I share those lessons every week in my newsletter 👇 Hiring a commercial leader?
