About

I am a Yale medical student with interests in global mental health, medical anthropology, implementation science, interventional psychiatry, and psychedelic research. I graduated from Harvard College in May 2024 summa cum laude in Social Anthropology, with a secondary in Global Health/Health Policy. My guiding purpose is to learn and practice a human-centered philosophy of care, which I hope to embody as a psychiatrist, health advocate, and researcher. My recent publications focus on sociocultural models of mental health conditions and community-based, peer/lay-delivered psychological interventions. During my gap year, I had the privilege of embarking on the Henry Russel Shaw travel fellowship to explore the intersection of mental health with spirituality and quests for meaning. In my free time, you can find me hiking, taking photos, reading novels, meditating, and rock climbing!
