At NetWitness, Mr. Girardi served as VP of the Product Management and a key executive of the start-up company founded in November 2006. Mr. Girardi focused on many aspects of business operations including product management, product marketing, marketing, hardware engineering, manufacturing, technology partnerships, product strategy, IP management, and driving new product launch. Mr. Girardi played a critical role in the creation of one of the most recognized and innovative security products developed in recent years. NetWitness was recognized in 2010 by Inc. Magazine as the 21st fastest growing private US company, and the #1 fastest growing software company. In April 2011, NetWitness Corporation was acquired by EMC Corporation.
At ManTech, Mr. Girardi served as Executive Director of the NetWitness product group, responsible for its daily operations. Mr. Girardi specifically focused on operations, business development, professional services, software development/productization and large-scale network capture and processing implementations. In November 2006, NetWitness Corporation was founded as a spin-out from ManTech International.
At CTX, Mr. Girardi held roles as an operator, developer and project manager of a Federal Government network processing and analytics technology that was brought to the public market in late 2000 as NetWitness. During this time Mr. Girardi was critical to the development, engineering and innovation that created the initial versions of the NetWitness technology focusing on the Defense and Law Enforcement markets. At this time, Mr. Girardi was a named inventor on the granted US Patent #7,634,557 for an apparatus and method for network analysis. CTX Corporation was acquired by ManTech International in December 2002.
