About

I am a Fulbright Master’s Scholar in Urban Planning & Policy at the University of Illinois Chicago. While pursuing my studies, I work as a Graduate Researcher at the Urban Transportation Center (UTC) and serve as President of the Urban Planning & Policy Student Association (UPPSA). Recently, I was selected as a Fulbright Advocacy Delegate, advocating for international exchange and education with U.S. senators and representatives on Capitol Hill. I was also selected as a Pipeline Scholar by the American Real Estate & Urban Economics Association (AREUEA) in Washington, D.C. Driven by a passion for guiding cities toward sustainable growth and connecting communities through planning, I am actively involved in the American Planning Association (APA). I bring 9 years of global professional experience in research and consulting across urban planning, real estate, and transit-oriented development. At JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle), I provided data-driven insights for citizens, developers, and investors. As the country-level GIS SPOC, I used spatial technologies to analyze real estate markets and green building certifications, where I gained professional exposure across offices in Bangkok, Brussels, New York City, Singapore, and Tokyo, deepening my understanding of global urban sustainability practices. I am committed to advancing mastery, shaping policy, and empowering society to foster urban sustainability through planning and diplomacy as a young leader from the Asia Pacific. For 6 years, I have led as Director of SSEAYP (Ship for Southeast Asian & Japanese Youth Program) International Inc., overseeing multimedia platforms and multilateral communications that connect leaders, alumni, and stakeholders across ASEAN-Japan. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in City & Regional Planning from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). As an active member of the International Society of City & Regional Planners (ISOCARP), my research papers were presented at the 58th and 59th ISOCARP World Planning Congress in Brussels and Toronto. Prior to coming to the U.S. as a Fulbright awardee in summer 2024, I was invited to present my project at the 3rd NTU Science, Technology, and Society (STS) Global Conference in Singapore. I am grateful to have been selected multiple times from among thousands of young leaders across the Asia Pacific to participate in prestigious, fully funded leadership and scholarship programs, including the 2022 Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR), the 2021 Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), and the 44th SSEAYP in 2017.
