Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago, where my research focuses on integrating deep reinforcement learning frameworks into AI-driven automation and optimization of radiation therapy treatment planning. Previously, as a PhD candidate at the University Medical Center Groningen, I conducted research in proton therapy, combining Monte Carlo simulations, experimental design, and image-guide techniques to improve real-time in vivo verification. I hold a Master of Science in Medical Physics from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and remain committed to developing innovative computational and imaging-driven solutions that strengthen precision medicine in radiation therapy.
