I am a seasoned entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. In 1994, I co-founded iland Internet Solutions, a global cloud service provider specializing in secure and compliant hosting for infrastructure (IaaS), disaster recovery (DRaaS), and backup as a service (BaaS). Under my leadership as President and Co-Founder, iland achieved a consistent 25% year-over-year growth, expanding its services across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. In December 2021, iland was acquired by 11:11 Systems, a managed infrastructure solutions provider. Prior to iland, I developed software for various verticals, including medical billing, construction, materials management, financial, and POS systems. I also worked at Exxon, consulting and developing inter-company billing and tracking systems for core business functions such as telecommunications and document management. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas State University. My extensive experience in building and scaling a successful tech company, combined with a strong technical and operational background, positions me well to identify and prioritize high-potential investment opportunities in the technology sector.

I led iland’s corporate direction and vision, building and scaling the company from a startup to a high-growth engine internationally, while managing all operational aspects of the business. iland supported organizations in delivering SaaS, traditional IT applications, DRaaS (disaster recovery), and Cloud Backup for server workloads and Office 365 across its global cloud regions. The unique iland Cloud platform provided customers and partners with unparalleled visibility, advanced control and orchestration, and secure access to their cloud resources through a single pane of glass. iland’s customer service-oriented, highly technical company culture and cutting-edge technology consistently attracted top talent.
