The Philadelphia Behavior Therapy Association (PBTA) is a long-standing, interdisciplinary organization that promotes the practice of scientifically-based psychotherapy in the Philadelphia region, and has a tradition of providing education, promoting dissemination and facilitating networking among the local cognitive-behavior therapy-oriented community. As President of PBTA, my accomplishments included improved financial stability through increased membership and retention, website improvement, new external collaborations, updated by-laws, ad improved publicity. During my tenure, I recruited internationally and nationally recognized speakers.
