2024 Summer Internship Program, spending 3 weeks in Oslo, Norway Worked on a real-world FPSO project, performing FIV calculations to mitigate vibration related risks for offshore equipment. Collaborated with a cross-cultural team to assist in performing a feasibility study for a novel offshore floating platform application
Extended engineering support for 2 offshore Oil and Gas projects, including a fixed offshore platform and a Floating Production Unit (FPU). Collaborated with a team of engineers to produce over 200 instrument datasheets for temperature, pressure and level indicators and transmitters. Verified accuracy and completeness of 10+ cause and effect matrices and human-machine interface diagrams.
Collaborated with a team of engineers to devise a design for a NEWater plant as part of an upcoming project tender by PUB expected to be valued at S$200 million. Performed calculations to size essential plant equipment such as pumps, tanks and pipes, liaising with vendors to obtain quotations. Analysed design of previous similar projects, drafting more than 10 piping and instrumentation diagrams.
Managed classes for a Computer Science course aimed at teaching students Object Oriented Programming in Java (CS2030) Held classes of 20 students, engaging with students to aid understanding of course material Monitored student progress and offered academic support after class hours for a semester long project, improving student learning and average class performance
