    - Wrote C++ software to implement power detector based onboard calibration for User Terminal phased arrays in order to correct bad magnitude calibrations caused by incorrect math during factory calibration which affected 1.2 million units - Performed extensive testing including A/B tests with a control release, boot loop + soak testing, SNR testing, performance testing with rain on dish, etc. - Released software fix to customer units around the world and characterized field performance using metrics such as Uplink SNR to validate the change - Project required in-depth understanding of RF and low-level software concepts, i.e. analog/digital gain calibration, writing to registers, designing control loops to implement complex procedures, etc.

  • MIT EECS Graduate Teaching Assistant at MIT EECS
    Feb 2024 - May 2024 · 4 mos

    - Taught controls and dynamical systems concepts through hands-on labs and office hour sessions providing clarification on technical concepts and one-on-one checkoff conversations to verify and reinforce understanding - Course covered classical and modern control theory from PID to Feed Forward to State Space and Observer Based Feedback intended for both undergraduate and graduate students
