At FuelFWD, we replace manually created spreadsheets with an auditable ledger tailored for renewable fuels. We extract data directly from the source; PoS, GO, contracts - every piece of data you need is extracted onto FuelFWD. We link the data, and verify according to your specific business rules, ensuring your full ownership of your compliance workflow without the risk and struggle that comes with manual processes. As the Head of Customer Success, I am responsible for ensuring FuelFWD solutions deliver value in daily operations. My job revolves around onboarding new clients, translating current pains into future gains, and optimising customer outcomes.
The role as Venture Development Manager was a new one for Docklab, allowing me to shape it along the way. I supported early-stage ventures across ideation, validation, and scaling phases, translating market insights into clear business models. The role requires close collaboration with founders, operators, and stakeholders in all aspects of business. It allowed me to familiarise myself with the legal processes surrounding the incorporation of a business, the hiring and onboarding of the first employees, planning for future investment(s), and everything in between.
As Business Administration Manager, I moved into a more central role within the organisation, adding operational and project responsibility. Docklab increasingly created more Ventures based on in-house development of cutting-edge digital solutions, all of which needed solid financial and business planning. I learned a lot about managing businesses at an early fase, with different needs, stakeholders, and Venture-specific business maturity shaping the responsibilities I took on for every Venture.
I started at Docklab as a Market Researcher, initially assigned to conduct deep-dives into specific energy and supply chain topics relevant to Docklab. In doing so, I built market and competitor landscapes to identify opportunities and risks, and delivered concise reports to Docklab Management. The role quickly broadened into strategic aspects as well, with grant writing, financial/business planning, and assumption validation becoming integral parts of the job after a few months.
