Starting out as an HR Business Partner, I transitioned into Project Management, HR Systems before heading towards HR Operations, Recruiting & Talent Acquisition. This experience enabled me to become a Chief People & Culture Officer.

Key responsibilities for delivering world-class HR services and operations included: - Develop global strategies with business leaders as it pertains to their operational plans - In-country Shared Service Centers, strategically located across the globe that provide support to Citi employees, managers, HR professionals supported by Regional and Global Services Centers - Innovation, development, and adoption of new HR infrastructure, services, technology and analytics. - Drive shared services to higher effectiveness and productivity through service quality, delivery and timeliness. - Standardization of processes globally whilst ensuring regional and local requirements are met - Delivering HR technology that enables the business to meet its strategic goals and accurate and quality data and analytics reporting - Managing a $100 million+ operating budget as well as multi million dollar investment projects. - Act as a champion for customer focus and listen to and communicate with customers and stakeholders effectively; ensuring that procedures and systems are in place to inform and receive ongoing feedback from service users, partners, stakeholders and evaluating that feedback. - Ensure the delivery of the function reflects highest professional standards, conforming to benchmarked performance metrics reported through monthly SLA and KPIs. - Inculcate Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) into the culture and continuously raise the bar to deliver higher level of customer experience by holding senior leaders accountable.
Managed an HR operations organization of 650 employees across 30 countries in Asia Pacific, Japan, Europe, Middle East & Africa supporting an employee population of 90,000. The HR Shared Service team are responsible for: - HR Systems Support, Implementations & Enhancements inclusive of Onboarding (Taleo), Data Management (PeopleSoft), Time & Attendance (Infor), Learning Management (SumTotal) and Payroll - HR Operations through On-Shore Service Centres across Onboarding, Employee LifeCycle and Offboarding supported by a Global Service Centre - Payroll processing and re-engineering inclusive of a global centralisation effort - HR Initiatives covering projects such as recruitment & onboarding, employee value proposition, transfer management , mobility and HR reporting - Compensation planning and support - Project Management & Consulting - HR Re-engineering, Rightplacement and transformation - Communications, strategy and planning. Also the Global HR Service Delivery Lead responsible for designing and implementing a standardized service delivery program globally.
Citi Shared Services covers HR Operations, General Services, Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting Operations and Anti Money Laundering. As an evolution from the HR Shared Services Region Head role, this role entails providing oversight for the Shared Services function across Asia. The role is focused on relationships with senior executives, standardization and harmonization across the region and a continual drive to customer and process excellence.
Initially recruited to perform a sales associate role, the role quickly moved into managing the employee training area and subsequently extended to manage store advertising and replenishment. Oversaw a team of 10 covering the areas of leisure and entertainment, home improvement, sporting and toys.
