About

My name is Brendan Kantz and I'm a senior at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, majoring in communication with a minor in Spanish. I have significant NCAA and MiLB experience in athletic communications, broadcasting, social media, and media relations. I currently work as a student assistant in the John Carroll University Sports Information Department, fulfilling a wide range of assignments for one of the top NCAA Division III athletic programs in the nation. I also have worked at the professional sports level during season-long internships with the Lake County Captains, High-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians (on-air broadcast and media relations in 2025) and the Buffalo Bisons, Triple A-affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays (media relations in 2024 and social media in 2023). I'm deeply interested in the intersection of sports and society and how sports and athletes bring people of diverse backgrounds together to better our communities. I'm studying these issues with a career goal of working in athletic administration/communications/community relations. To reach out, contact me via email at [email protected]. Onward On! ⚡⚡⚡
