MLIS | Annotation Manager at Moveworks

About

I spent seven years at the intersection of technical services and digital literacy, designing custom taxonomies and building instructional programs to help people master new technologies. Today, I bring that library science foundation to Enterprise AI. As an Annotation Manager at Moveworks, I manage the human-in-the-loop operations that serve as the ground truth for our product’s performance. Whether managing a physical collection or training a large language model, the fundamental goal is the same: building systems that make information useful and ensuring people can interact with them effectively. Core Areas of Focus: - Engineering & Data Science Collaboration: I work closely with data scientists and engineers to translate high-level product goals into precise, scalable human annotation tasks, delivering the high-quality data needed to improve model interpretation. - Instructional Design & Training: Drawing on my background in media literacy, I develop asynchronous onboarding pathways and technical tutorials that establish clear standards for annotator precision and data quality. - Taxonomy & Knowledge Architecture: I apply classification principles to reconcile complex taxonomies across disparate tasks, eliminating the ambiguity that can hinder LLM performance.
