A professional actor, designer, director, and instructor, Brandt has worked in the industry for 19 years in a variety of roles, both on stage and off. Roberts has a passion for the arts, stories, and fostering the next generation of artists.
Currently teaching sophomore BFA acting students voice, IPA, and dialect and accent acquisition. Voice and text-coached "Julius Caesar," "Othello," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "As You Like It," "Much Ado About Nothing," and "Twelfth Night," and dialect-coached "Street Scene," "Cabaret," and "The Ferryman."
Currently teaching Introduction to Theatre, and I've taught sessions in Classical Acting and Clowning. Vocal coached "Life is a Dream."
Freelance props designer for "Marie and Rosetta," "A Streetcar Named Desire," "Misery," "The Rats & the Wasp Nest," "Dial M for Murder," "Once Upon a Time... Josephine Baker," "Steel Magnolias," "Every Christmas Story Ever Told and Then Some," and "Toil & Trouble."
Designed the set, puppets, and props for "The Girl Who Swallowed a Cactus." Props designer for "The Importance of Being Earnest," "Noises Off, "Little House on the Prairie," "Misery," "The Book Club Play," "She Loves Me," and "Urinetown." Set designer for "Little House on the Prairie."
