COVID-19 Engineer Technician at Pfizer - Michigan State University Graduate
In charge of the Lean Manufacturing Department of the plant. Responsible for identifying problems and implementing their corrective actions on the shop floor, which includes eliminating waste in manufacturing processes. Designed and integrated new plant layout and fixtures for new F-150 BEV launch. Conducted monthly internal and quarterly corporate audits of entire manufacturing and support areas of the plant. Communicates with all levels of the manufacturing from operators to management to make the shop floor more efficient and maintain its standards. Creates and edits OIS to reflect new processes. Conducts SLMS training to teach new employees lean manufacturing principles. Participates in bi-weekly global team meeting and bi-annual SLMS week to improve a process in a plant.
Apart of Pfizer's Inspection team to help end the COVID-19 pandemic. In charge of inspecting various products for defects, feeding and gathering products through the manufacturing line, and properly disposing defected products, including but not limited to, Parecoxib, Depo-Medrol and the Covid-19 vaccine. Assisted in cleaning, troubleshooting and assembling the production line when machines are down. Helped set up manufacturing line for production run, which includes performing proper clearances and running tests on various machines to ensure proper readings.
Performed daily maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery to make sure they are operational. Ensure machines are both food and user safe. In charge of keeping inventory while choosing what product to process based off operational needs. Communicated with coworkers about what inventory has been processed and what was remaining. In charge of processing over 6 million pounds of cherries.
Designing and creating displays of beer, and refill grocery store shelves with product.
