Dr. Brandon Mines is a distinguished board certified family and sports medicine physician with an extensive background in both medical practice and community service. His work spans from elite professional athletes to local youth, with a particular focus on treating and reducing sports-related injuries, especially concussions. With a remarkable career that includes unrivaled experience in professional sports as a head team physician/team physician in the NFL, NBA and WNBA, Dr. Mines possesses unparalleled knowledge in both sports medicine and family medicine. Beyond his clinical and sports medicine achievements, Dr. Mines is dedicated to advancing public health through education and advocacy. He lectures on concussion management and continues to shape health policies, particularly in sports, through his role on the NFLPA Mackey-White Health and Safety Committee. His commitment to community outreach is evident in his work with underserved populations, as well as his leadership in initiatives like the LEWIS organization and The ORTHO Project, which he founded to to create and offer unique experiences for minority students interested in the world of sports medicine and related fields. As a mentor, Dr. Mines also plays an important role in shaping the next generation of leaders through his involvement with 100 Black Men of America and his volunteer work with local high schools and youth sports teams. His holistic approach to healthcare, mentorship, and community service makes him a key figure in both the medical and local communities.
