After more than 20 years in this industry, I know the frustration of over-complicated marketing. Despite an infinite number of tools, marketers are still drowning in noise and snake oil. It’s time to put marketers back in control. That's why I created ViVV LABS. Our AI Engine eliminates guesswork, giving marketers a clear path to achieving their KPIs. We built ViVV on a single idea: Marketing should be simple, measurable, and focused on impact.
Starting in an advisory and board position, I transitioned to become the full-time Chief Marketing Officer. I worked closely with the product team to ensure product-led marketing growth while executing a successful marketing strategy for organic growth. This involved leveraging social media, events, PR, Discord, Twitch, and content. I managed a global marketing strategy across Asia, North America, and Europe with a limited budget, a small in-house team, and B2B partnerships.
In this role, I collaborated closely with the product team to drive product-led growth through targeted marketing initiatives. This involved raising seed round funds, building the brand, and driving customer acquisition through data-driven campaigns across all media platforms. I built and managed a high-performing marketing team that focused on leveraging the product's strengths to attract and retain customers. This included overseeing social media, content, affiliates, and paid media strategies. Additionally, I hired and collaborated with our social media agency, working closely with their planning, buying, and creative teams to ensure alignment with our product-led growth goals.
As Senior Digital Commercial Director at CNNIC, I led a team of 11 Digital Directors focused on driving digital sales and revenue for Great Big Story and CNN worldwide (outside of the USA). Collaborating closely with the product team, we ensured the successful quarterly launch of new digital products across the globe. My focus was on digital product execution, delivery, and revenue generation, working hand-in-hand with Marketing and Sales teams to provide optimal digital solutions that met client needs and exceeded revenue targets.
BuzzFeed collaborates with brands and agencies in EMEA to create engaging native video and post ads, connecting them with their consumers through effective communication. Our approach is community-centric, offering entertaining and effective content that sparks conversations.
