Empowering patients to regain their independence one step at a time | Stroke Recovery Advocate | Physical Therapist Assistant

About

As an outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant, I have enjoyed playing a role in the recovery of orthopedic and neurological patients. There is nothing more satisfying than helping a patient breakthrough potential barriers to their recovery and make progress that impacts their daily life. In 2012, I received an Associates in Applied Science degree from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC. I was privileged to work with many skilled physical therapists at Steele Creek Physical Therapy & Balance Center and at Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation who became excellent mentors. In those clinics, I treated patients who suffered from musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions, balance and vestibular disorders using evidence based treatment approaches. However, the COVID-19 pandemic brought about a change in my career path. In my role as a Client Success Advocate at Saebo, I use my clinical expertise as I interact with patients, caregivers, and therapists on a daily basis. Our dynamic and talented team provides a specialized and personal approach to each patient. It is an honor to play a part of making a difference in the lives of stroke survivors each day and to hear how our revolutionary medical devices help patients at each stage of their rehabilitation.
