• Consulted with homeowners and contractors to analyze applications for grants funded by FEMA and dispersed through HMGP in order to elevate, reconstruct, or mitigate homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina. • Funded over 150 projects totaling more than 8 million dollars by resolving issues of compliance with the policies of FEMA, GOHSEP, SBA, HUD, and local governments in affected parishes.
