Certified Welding Inspector to American and Canadian Standards ( AWS QC1 / CSA 178.2 Level 2 / CSA W47.1 + W59). Born and raised in Waukesha County and currently working in Milwaukee. Committed to growing in the Manufacturing Industry, especially in the South Eastern area of Wisconsin.
1. The Lead Quality Associate in PFlow Building One. 2. Coordinates with department directors, managers, and supervisors to develop company standards and procedures to ensure on-time, accurate and high-quality outputs. 3. Carries out daily inspections using the inspection checklists for Fabricated Parts to ensure that all parts are correct and complete as per the requirements of Drawings and Bills of Material. 4. Carries out daily inspection and/or quality sampling of incoming sourced parts including fabricated parts using the inspection checklists to ensure that all parts are correct and complete as per the requirements of Drawings and Bills of Material. 6. Completes shipment verification for each job to include reviewing all inspection sheets and packing lists for completeness. Completes the verification cover sheets for each job. 7. In conjunction with the Director of Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Learning, develop Fabrication Inspection procedures for product lines at PFlow Industries. 8. Tracks quality objectives and identifies reasons and issues to develop action plans to meet target objectives 9. Developed program for certifying PFlow welders to meet AWS certification and/or CWB Certification to include developing the testing protocols and completing the appropriate testing. 10. Manages the PFlow project for company CWB certification. 11. Leads the Material Review Board meeting in conjunction with key materials associates. 12. Completes cross-training for Assembly/Small Parts Assembly Inspection. 13. Assists in implementation of Quality Management System by creating and maintaining documentation and records per Pflow’s road map 14. Drives Root Cause Analysis and corrective action for all errors generated from daily inspections of fabricated parts and sourced parts to ensure no repeatability 15. Carries out process analysis in fabrication and assembly areas, identify opportunities for errors and develops procedures to deliver best practices.
Responsibilities Include; -Assisting HR with early stages of interview process -Qualify welders to AWS and CWB -Keep records of active/inactive welder certifications -Facilitate audits by the CWB -Archive quality records/engineering reports -Contact engineering for deviations/print revisions -Archive quality issues through Continuous Improvement log entries -Perform spot inspections multiple times daily, in each department on the shop floor -Issue QC Hold tags upon discovery of inadequate quality/missing parts -Insure inspection logs are being filled out by the respective personnel in each department
