Hi! I’m a recent graduate in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Engineering at the University of Calgary, with hands-on experience in SoC physical design, FPGA development, and embedded systems. During my internship at AMD, I gained proficiency in clock tree synthesis, static timing analysis, scripting, and building practical skills that I’m excited to carry forward into my career. I'm also interested in learning more about applying electrical principles to topics such as biomedical wearables and devices, as well as how they can improve the well-being of others. Outside of school, I enjoy photography, spending time with loved ones, and looking at planes.
• Developed high-performance clock trees and top-level clock meshes for advanced SoCs in Fusion Compiler, contributing to timing closure and driving skew minimization down by 68% across full-chip physical designs • Implemented Tcl and Python scripts to automate clock tree legalization and route length checks, reducing manual effort by 38% and accelerating turnaround time • Resolved critical 2-tile violations through static timing analysis and path debugging in PrimeTime, improving clock connectivity and fixing design rule violations (DRVs)
• Effectively utilized AutoCAD for diagramming road layouts and overlaying with electrical infrastructure • Utilized Dialux to simulate multiple lighting scenarios, ensuring fulfillment of government specifications
• Developed a web application for the Geothermal Department at the University of Calgary to aggregate and display geothermal drilling data • Utilized React, Python and PostgresSQL
• Efficiently addressed customer complaints or concerns in a timely fashion • Handle large volumes of customers in a pleasant and cheerful manner • Trained and led 5 new hires to proficiency
