Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States
I'm a Teach For America Alumni that fell in love with Tulsa back in 2016. After 5 years teaching a variety of high school science courses in Tulsa Public Schools, I pivoted to business at Rice University for my MBA. During this period of exploration, I concentrated in entrepreneurship and found my passion for healthcare. Fast forward to today, and I've spent the last 20 months managing dialysis clinics across Northeastern Oklahoma. Connecting with patients, clinicians, providers, and management, I've developed a cohesive ecosystem of relationships to drive the growth and resilience of our P&L. Through enhanced technological literacy, continously refined process improvement, and both short-term and long-term strategic planning, we can successfully pair optimized care with a viable business model.
• Oversee multi-site operations for a $10M P&L across locations from South Tulsa to Okmulgee, OK, managing care for 180+ patients, leading 42 direct reports across 10 shifts, and ensuring delivery of two dialysis modalities (In-Center Hemodialysis and Home Dialysis) • Directed turn-around of Okmulgee clinic (team of 13) over 15 months, resulting in 100% employee retention, an increase from 4 to 61 basis points for clinical outcomes performance, and a 24% growth YoY in net revenue • Establish operational initiatives for workforce planning and teammate development across the entire Tulsa region, spanning 12 clinics and over 200 teammates • Performed fiscal revamp of operations budget for direct patient care, training, leadership, and support staff at South Tulsa clinic, leading to 30+ hour weekly productivity improvement • Partner with internal transition managers and external hospital discharge planners to ensure timely placement of all dialysis patient requests, leading to a 99% placement rate over 20 months
