I am proud to say that after a rewarding career of almost 22yrs at Royal Electric, I have began an exciting new adventure with McCarthy Building Companies. Looking forward to growing in this new position and broadening my experience.
I started my career in construction 26 years ago. My experience began when I applied with The ABC apprenticeship program in Northern CA.. Where as an Electrical Apprentice I was fortunate to work for and with some great mentors, who provided me with good knowledge and a good work ethic. During my 5 years with ABC, I worked for some good companies, and was also able to work on many different construction projects. For example, Multiple Schools(Elementary, Highschools, and UC's), prisons, Military Bases, and Underground projects. Shortly after I completed my ABC apprenticeship in 2003, I hired on with Royal Electric and have been here ever since. At Royal I have been given the opportunity to grow and be challenged. Working on many projects these past 20+ years. Consisting of Commercial, Industrial, Multi Family and a few Airport runway projects. Beginning as a newly turned out Journeyman Electrician, then transitioning into a beginning Foreman Role, eventually stepping into a Superintendent position which I held for 7 years, and now General Superintendent. I'm not stopping here either, and aspire to move on to an Operations Manger position at some point, or to a position where I can provide the greatest positive impact. Growing and mentoring others as so many Great individuals have done so for me. Especially here at Royal Electric. This company focuses alot on it's Culture, training, Mentoring and growth from within.
