As a full-time freelance outdoor writer I develop content on new products as well as conservation initiatives, outdoor skills, and hunting, fishing and travel destinations. I have developed relationships with editors as well as product manufacturers with an eye toward educating the public on gear, guns, destinations and more. I am the author of over 400 print and online articles as well as five books and have been a guest on several radio and television programs. Past awards include the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers Best of Best Media (2010) and Professional Outdoor Media Association's Pinnacle Award for Conservation (2015).
