My leadership in Identity and Access Management (IAM) at Red Hat showcased a knack for bridging gaps between departments, leading to the successful deployment of IAM capabilities across various internal services. • Leading Enterprise Advanced Team at MongoDB, overseeing Ops Manager product for large MongoDB Enterprise Server Deployments. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, onboarding new team members, and participating in hiring and weekly team activities. • Switching between hands-on implementation, planning, architecture, project coordination and typical Engineering Manager duties based on current needs.
• Led the creation and implementation of Customer Identity and Access Management initiative, involving 90 people and serving internal customers. • Developed a business plan, secured approval, and facilitated collaboration among key stakeholders at Red Hat. • Championed the utilization of core technologies and products to provide IAM capabilities to internal customers and services.
• Led a team of 20+ engineers in developing Red Hat Single Sign-On, scaling from 3 developers, and successfully pushing the initial product release. • Mentored team members, promoting several into more senior roles, and stepping down as Chief Architect to create space for key engineers. • Established trust and accountability, fostering close collaboration within Agile teams and building relationships with stakeholders for issue resolution.
• Led the direction of Red Hat Single Sign-On offering, focusing on integrations with other products and alignment in authentication and authorization areas. • Collaborated with stakeholders from different product teams to ensure design and vision alignment for Middleware Security within Red Hat JBoss Middleware Group.
• Administered Sun Solaris Operating System (5.9) and evaluated installation of Sun Java Enterprise Systems suite, including Access Manager, in 2005Q1 version. • Collaborated on implementing Messaging Server for faculty and authentication based on LDAP, as part of a group effort. • Acquired foundational knowledge of Cisco routers basics during internship at Warsaw University of Technology - Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
• Developed core product for JBoss Portal project using technologies like JEE, Hibernate, JSF. • Wrote tests to ensure product quality and provided support to users. • Collaborated with team members to enhance the functionality of the product. • Acquired valuable skills in JEE, ORM, and other technologies while working at JBoss.
