While upholding a strong link with DAZN's media aspect, I've embraced the role of bolstering the company's core in Technology Operations and Infrastructure. I'm engaged in developing the hardware and software solutions that are pivotal to the technology stack of this expansive streaming media enterprise, focusing on hybrid workflows across both public and private clouds to maximize business value. As the lead architect in content security and anti-piracy, I also contribute to other vital areas of platform security. My role extends to aiding in public policy matters related to technology, working on contractual/rights agreements, and analysing intellectual property claims in collaboration with legal colleagues. I regularly work with the CTO and other top executives, both technical and non-technical, to meet the business's needs.

Involved with: * Cloud encoding and packaging with multiple clouds (AWS and Azure) and multiple technology vendors * On-prem encoding and packaging for both live and VoD with multiple vendors * Distribution via multiple CDNs at large scale including edge compute, geofencing and tokenisation * DRM for live and VoD including CENC using Fairplay, Widevine and PlayReady * Mezzanine coding and connectivity for global distribution and contribution * Ad insertion at playout, regional insertion and DAI SSAI personalisation Additionally supporting revenue protection activities including anti-piracy activity, cyber forensics, platform security audits and contract reviews.
