Been writing code since 4th grade, started with C/C++ (amateur to competitive programming) in Beijing, China, also taught myself English during this time, eventually started making games on Roblox. Then, I started writing websites and making things people find awesome & cool.
I am a Web Developer, part of the Marketing team for MNET, which provides students with the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology such as VR/AR/XR, Quantum Computing, and the Web Frontier. Where students can co-design and develop experimental projects that shape the future of Monash’s digital ecosystem with support from Monash Smart Manufacturing Hub, FIT Embodied Visualisation Labs, and eSolutions VARS, helping to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Me and my team's mission is to equip students with the knowledge and experience needed to excel in both research and industry-related projects.
I am the Technical Events team at WIRED, who is responsible for delivering WIRED's weekly technical workshops. Our team helps create valuable learning experiences by sharing knowledge and making technical topics accessible to members.
Served as the student voice for first-year members within MonSec's committee, helping shape events and workshops to be more accessible and beginner-friendly. Attended fortnightly committee meetings, contributed feedback on club events, and worked to foster an inclusive community for students at all experience levels. Supported the club's growth by identifying the interests of the first-year cohort and providing reflections that informed future programming.
