After spending more than four decades in the manufacturing industry, I’ve embraced a new challenge — shaping the next generation of skilled trades professionals. I’m now an instructor at Central Westmoreland Career and Technology Center, where I teach the REM (Robotics, Engineering, and Advanced Manufacturing) program. My goal is to give high school students the same practical, real-world foundation that helped me succeed in industry. Through hands-on training, project-based learning, and a strong focus on safety and problem-solving, I prepare students for rewarding careers in machining, robotics, and advanced manufacturing. Before entering education, I built a long career as a Procurement and Operations Manager, successfully leading purchasing, materials sourcing, and production coordination. I’ve managed complex supply chains, implemented process improvements, and supported business growth through efficient management and teamwork. Now, I’m passionate about bridging the gap between industry and education — helping students gain both the technical skills and professional mindset employers are looking for in today’s manufacturing workforce.
