This position leads the Monsanto Company Global IT Infrastructure Team. The breadth of IT Infrastructure Services delivered are Telecom (all aspects of telephony and networks), Technical Support (UNIX, Windows, SAP Basis/DBA, Storage), Operations (24/7 and DRP), Web, Messaging and Client Services (HD, Desk side, Workstation deployment). This team, comprised of 300+ people located around the world, is responsible for the delivery of highly reliable cost effective services to Monsanto employees.
Responsbile for leading a Progam Management Office for Monsanto Company's large-scale IT Infrastructure Outsourcing Agreement with the chosen provider. Annual scope was $65-70M of services provided, total for 10 year agreement anticipated to exceed $1B. In 2001 developed and implemented a comprehensive outsourcing agreement exit strategy and in-sourced all services back to Monsanto.
