Born in Boston and raised in the South, I graduated from Wake Forest University in 2003 with a double major in Mathematics and Anthropology. During my undergraduate years, I had the incredible opportunity to conduct field research in Nepal and participate in an archaeological dig in the mountains of North Carolina. After graduation, I began my career teaching math in Charlotte, where I quickly discovered my passion for education. In 2004, I joined the Providence Day School community, where I have been fortunate to teach and grow ever since. Outside of the classroom, my interests include reading, weightlifting, and advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion through financial literacy. Above all, I cherish quality time with my family. I am deeply committed to fostering inclusive learning environments and empowering individuals through education and financial literacy, striving to make a meaningful impact in and beyond the classroom.
