About

Already as a young person, I was drawn to the natural sciences and had a natural inclination towards helping others. I pursued a medical education to continue this. Following this education, I initially worked in adult surgery but felt a stronger interest to work with the most vulnerable and smallest members of our society. My transition to pediatric surgery was a natural step, as I wanted to specialize in the care of children and infants. I am known for my compassion and dedication to my patients, which extends beyond the operating room and into their ongoing care and well-being.
