ABB has a major manufacturing plant for power distribution solutions in Skien, Norway. The electrification products unit offers a full range of distribution solutions to connect, protect, control, and measure a wide range of electrification system for all major industries, including the residential sector, data centers and electrical vehicle infrastructure. The Technology Center in Skien has more than 50 talented employees including two laboratories and is considered a “Center of Excellence” within the organization. The Technology Center is responsible for inventing new technologies for the business and is facing large projects focused on the development of more environmentally friendly products.
