At ASML IT I manage the User Experience CoE, which has the following capabilities: • UX People Management • UX Competence Management • ResearchOps • Design Thinking Facilitation • Design System Management • UX Software Management • UX Analytics Development • Survey Development • Digital Adoption Platform CoE As such, I aim to raise the user-centricity of ASML, by leading ~15 people solid line and ~80 people dotted line, working with numerous agile release trains on hundreds of solutions simultaneously.
The mission of SeniorWise was to provide seniors with more possibilities when using interactive products in all aspects of life. Thereto, SeniorWise helped the developers of interactive products to make those products useful, easy to use and joyful for seniors and their caregivers. Our services covered user experience design, research, and strategy consulting. As the founder of SeniorWise, I focused on: • Making our business even more relevant to our clients • Attracting and growing top talent • Developing profound knowledge of aging and assistive technology
• Moderated customer workshops using Design Thinking / Service Design techniques • Transformed user/customer requirements to SAP solution proposals • User-centered design of (mobile) software applications • Worked with several large enterprises from the EMEA region
• Moved to the HQ in Walldorf for a six-month fellowship for high potentials • Lead for design thinking and collaborative innovation strategy • Developed business cases for SAP’s customers • Improved quality and ease of use of business case development tools

I moved to Silicon Valley to work on my Master’s thesis under the supervision of Maarten Sierhuis and Virginia Dignum. I developed an agent-based simulation, to analyze the normative gap between prescriptions of work processes and descriptions of work practice in organizations such as air traffic control centers.
During the holidays and weekends, I worked as a sailing instructor: • Teaching and entertaining youth, aged 8-18 years • Leading and coaching a team of 30 sailing instructors • Examining sailing instructors in training
