I began my career working for a dive school in Curaçao, before heading to Iceland, where I developed my skills as a tour leader and became part of a small business. During this time, I gained experience in various aspects of business management, including finance, maintenance, and delivering tailored services. These formative years were essential in refining my understanding of the tourism industry and its operational dynamics. Following my Bachelor's degree in Tourism, I joined a cruise company, where I had the opportunity to travel extensively and further hone my expertise in hospitality, customer service, and operational management. I also gained valuable experience in back-office tasks, which helped broaden my skillset and solidified my commitment to the tourism industry. In my subsequent role as a Customer Contact Employee at Trivire in Dordrecht, I enhanced my ability to manage customer relations, resolve issues efficiently, and provide high-quality service. This role was pivotal in further developing my problem-solving skills and my ability to handle complex inquiries in a professional manner. Currently, I am based in Italy, where I have embarked on a new chapter in my career. I serve as the Front Office Manager at Basecamping Pula, overseeing guest relations, front-office operations, and ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional experience. I am responsible for managing a dynamic team, optimizing guest satisfaction, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment. I am proficient in Dutch, English, German, Italian, and Spanish and possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer systems and tourism-specific software.
