Assisting Professor Minghan Chen in research into Artificial Intelligence that is used to predict Severe Maternal Morbidity in Mothers so that life threatening symptoms can be prevented. Gained experience in different types of AI and Machine learning models, learned from extensive medical literature to engineer new and better features for the model, worked with and analyzed large datasets with over 250,000 entries, and presented our findings to the larger AI and medical communities.
