I recently graduated with honors from Washington State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a concentration in thermo-fluids. I’m interested in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, physics, programming, and nuclear-related engineering. I’ve worked on engineering projects with TerraPower Isotopes and Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, gaining experience in CAD, testing, process improvement, technical writing, and design under real constraints. I’m looking for entry-level roles in mechanical design, testing, manufacturing, process improvement, thermal-fluid systems, or nuclear-related engineering.
Worked on a confidential sponsored mechanical engineering design project involving a nuclear-related engineering application. The project gave me experience applying mechanical engineering fundamentals to a real client problem with practical design constraints. My work involved CAD, engineering calculations, testing support, technical documentation, and team presentations. The project also required careful consideration of reliability, safety, installation, manufacturability, and validation.
Managed and supported residents in a university housing environment by responding to concerns, documenting incidents, communicating with supervisors, planning community events, and helping maintain a safe and respectful living community. This role strengthened my leadership, communication, conflict resolution, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Worked on a process improvement project with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories focused on redesigning reusable masking boots for PCB components during conformal coating. The project involved CAD design, prototyping, testing, and evaluating boot performance based on fit, sealing, repeatability, ease of removal, and manufacturing practicality. The goal was to prevent coating fluid from contacting protected components while keeping the process reliable and usable in production.
Supported gym members by answering questions, handling front desk operations, maintaining a clean facility, and helping create a welcoming environment.
Led coastal outrigger canoe tours and supported outdoor guest activities in Maui. This role involved guiding families, explaining safety expectations, handling equipment, and helping guests experience the coastline, marine life, and whale watching in a safe and enjoyable way.
