Greater Hamburg Area
The main topics of my research in the field of Artificial Intelligence include knowledge representation, image processing, and diagrammatic reasoning. Two trends can be observed in these areas that seek to deal with complex problems: an increase concerning the collaboration between user and machine within assistance systems and that applications get more and more specific. In that respect, I devote myself to the investigation of specific applications that combine methods of the aforementioned areas.
