  • Ph.D., Sociology & Anthropology of Technology & Health at KTH Royal Institute of Technology
    2018 - 2023 · 5 yrs

At KTH Royal Institute of Technology, I worked with shaping research initiatives at the intersection of business administration, technology, and health strategy: 1. Leadership of international research initiatives: • Amongst others, I led an 8-person international research team on technological transformations for the ‘silver market’, identifying opportunities and barriers for future technology markets across 4 countries: Spain, The Netherlands, Sweden and Canada. •This involved a comprehensive exploration of technology development practices within both nascent and incumbent companies, as well as various organizational departments in AI and robotics. • I successfully led the establishment of a new Masters course for international research program EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology) on socio-economic aspects of technology development. 2. Management and involvement strategies across diverse industries: • Specifically, I developed new perspectives on the interconnection between technology and consumer needs, and on engaging target user groups, policy makers, and other interest groups in business processes. • I successfully published my research at 11 top international scientific journals (>99% percentile) and academic conference proceedings, with the reputable publishers Oxford University Press, Sage Publications, Springer, and Elsevier 3. Translation of research findings into actionable recommendations: • This involved delivering both near-term and long-term solutions for business management and policymakers based on the nuanced understanding derived from my research. • I presented these recommendations at invited seminars with companies, symposium discussions and conferences at NTNU Trondheim, CBH KTH, MDH, HCII Copenhagen, and Stockholm School of Economics.
