I am a marketing professional who is seeking to maximize my potential within the digital marketing world. I build and maintain websites, I can code, design, plan, and implement everything from an email marketing plan to a several hundred page website. I am also an accomplished graphic designer who is equally comfortable in print and web. I bring with me a very wide skill set, and an enthusiasm to take the project to the next level.
Companies supported: DICE Corporation / IPtelX / Venture6 / Meadow Ridge Farms Responsibilities: I am part of a team supporting the marketing needs for four separate companies under the same umbrella, as well as outside clients. We are a collaborative team, and we work together to create, pitch and execute high-level marketing initiatives for the companies we support. As Senior Web Developer, I build new sites from scratch or modify and maintain templates from WordPress and BigCommerce. I also maintain, improve and keep up to date our array of websites. I monitor analytics, as well as work with the marketing director and outside consultants to maximize impact from SEM, PPC and geo-fencing digital advertising. Additionally, I am responsible for front and back end development and design. Print design projects, such as flyers and advertisements for trade publications, web, trade show elements, promotional materials, banners, and social media are within my purview, including creating logos and brand identity for companies such as IPtelX and Meadow Ridge Farms. I also assist as the production assistant and co-director of video projects. Responsibilities: I was the webmaster and sole developer for www.saginaw-mi.com and sub sites, designing, coding, and implementing full websites from scratch. I maintained the social media accounts for the city and trained internal staff and college interns on social media usage and messaging. I was also the sole graphic designer for the city, creating web and print elements such as book covers for the city’s annual award-winning budget document, flyers, infographics, and other miscellaneous assignments. I also represented the city in initiatives such as “Light Up the City,” a non-profit crime reduction effort. I would sometimes be called upon to perform public speaking either in the news or during public sessions for city council in order to communicate the progress and needs of the Technical Services department. It was also my duty to serve on committees that related to steering the public image of the city, as well as gathering statistical data about city services. Responsibilities: I worked on-site at Dow Chemical but was contracted through AVI-SPL. I had the special distinction of being the only web technician on a team of dozens solely dedicated to a Dow sub-business: Dow Building Solutions (DBS). As the sole web technician, I worked hand in hand with the marketing team for DBS to help guide marketing efforts for both B2B and B2C product lines under the DBS umbrella. I was responsible for several websites and web initiatives that I maintained at a fast pace. I also trained content technicians in proper methods of building and maintaining sites under the DBS name.
