2023 - piloted a variety of volunteer mobilization models to optimize outreach strategies ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Including spontaneous deployment for special elections, extended stays for canvassing lasting weeks, and new training for Team Leads sensitive to working in interracial-multigenerational teams. 2024 - lead and launched a scalable volunteer system that successfully deployed 1,800 volunteers, resulting in 180,000 doors knocked. Special focus on creating pipelines that recruited volunteers who are students, BIPOC, Gen Z or Millennials and eventually developing them into leadership positions.
Ran point with a team of 4 on planning daily operations of an online civic intensive program for 100 college-aged participants. Supported curriculum delivery, coordinated guest speakers and activities, and managed logistics. Collectively fostered a dynamic, inclusive environment that encourages civic engagement, leadership development, and community-building.
Conducting research under Ass. Prof. Dr. Ursula Maier-Rabler at the Center for Information and Communication Technologies & Society. The research centers on youth political participation online and use of social media with a case study on the Fridays for Future climate movement.
English teaching assistant at the Christian Doppler Gymnasium and the Abendgymnasium in Salzburg, Austria. Assist teachers with current topics, or present topics as requested, in English class. Impart experience as an American and facilitate cultural exchange.
Main editor for the 2019 JSIS Task Force report "Humanitarian aid under stress: Assessing the role of NGOs" which analyzed dynamics and issues in international humanitarian aid and provided policy recommendations for humanitarian NGOs. Assisted in organizing and delivering a 70 page report, a presentation to an expert evaluator, and a poster summarizing findings and policy recommendations.
