I currently also serve as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Biostatistics at the Boston University School of Public Health, as a continuation of my six-year academic tenure with the institution. In this role, I have advised Ph.D. students on their thesis projects, supported their research development, and provided them with learning opportunities through summer internship programs at Takeda and CSL. My continuous involvement with the student paper competition committee has allowed me to contribute meaningful services to the academic community while remaining informed about the latest advancements in statistical research.
I held the position of Senior Director of Biostatistics at CSL, where I serve as the biostatistics lead in vaccine therapeutic area. In this capacity, I lead the biostatistics function in facilitating comprehensive and robust clinical vaccine development planning. My role involves integrating all pertinent technical and therapeutic area expertise to support the global advancement of vaccine projects and marketed products. I provide statistical leadership for key programs, which encompass IND-enabling activities, global regulatory submissions, and fulfillment of post-marketing requirements. In partnership with clinical development leadership, I contribute to shaping clinical strategy, evaluating program risks, and supporting high-level decision-making. Additionally, I am responsible for providing and overseeing clinical trial design, statistical methodologies, and analysis plans, ensuring a careful balance between innovative approaches and adherence to regulatory standards.
