Dr Su Bin is Senior Research Fellow and Head of Energy and Environment Division at the Energy Studies Institute (ESI), National University of Singapore (NUS). He leads the energy modelling programme at the Institute and is Programme Director of the Consortium for “Study on Singapore’s Energy and Decarbonization Pathways”. His research interests include energy and environmental systems modelling and analysis, focusing on energy efficiency, decarbonization pathways, benchmarking, embodied energy/emissions, carbon footprint, carbon pricing, rebound effect and energy resilience. Dr Su Bin is an Editor of Energy Policy, Associate Editor of Energy Economics, Indonesian Journal of Energy, Energy and Climate Management, Editorial Member of many international journals. Dr Su has published more than 160 peer-reviewed papers on energy and environment issues, which have been cited by 14002 times with an H-index of 63 (Google Scholar, 13 December 2024).
