Currently working as a Credit director for Virgin Money UK working in the specialist corporate and leverage finance team. Key Job role responsibilities centre around the credit decisioning of higher level business Lending proposals for the sector team with focus on the Agricultural sector.
Covering the whole of the UK focusing on trading business within the Corporate and structured finance portfolio for Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank. The role is to support business portfolio managers across the country, in the early identification of connections which are demonstrating signs of deterioration. Developing strategic actions plans to address the issues and support business management in implementing turnaround plans. Undertaking sector and other ad hoc reviews, focusing on the impact that market changes will have on the lending book and asset quality.
Working in the Structured and Acquisition Finance team in Scotland where we are responsible for sourcing, structuring and completing transactions where there will be a high degree of leverage in the business, e.g. MBOs, MBIs Acquisitions etc. I also work with existing mid to large corporate clients supporting their growth plans by providing suitable debt packages and providing support with other aspects of their business.
Working in the acquisition team in Scotland where we are responsible for sourcing, structuring and completing transactions where there will be a high degree of leverage in the business, e.g. MBOs, MBIs Acquisitions etc. Also part of a specialised team which looked at commercial marine transactions and also aviation.
