Late-Nite Productions was first conceived in the small College town of Arcata, CA next to Humboldt State University in 1995 - Inspired by the Artists that rocked Brewin' Beats Nightclub, such as SUBLIME, BARRINGTON LEVY, MERL SAUNDERS, JAMALSKI, NICODEMOS & more - LateNiteBilly took his passion for Entertaining & Music, made a career of it, & has been based in South Lake Tahoe, CA ever since. Late-Nite Productions and is a Concert / Event Production & Marketing Company, producing up to 100 Concerts & Events per year in several different Markets & in every genre of Music from Hip-Hop, Reggae, Ska, Jam, Punk, Comedy & more. He has personally hosted some of the largest Spring Break Parties in the World in beautiful destinations like Cocoa Beach Florida, South Padre Island & Cancun Mexico. "Late-Nite" Billy Drewitz owns, manages, promotes, buys talent for, & produces the (now 6th) Annual Truckee Reggae Festival in beautiful Truckee, Ca with legendary Jamaican Artists like Julian & Ky-Mani Marley, Don Carlos, Third World, Barrington Levy, Black Uhuru & more.. & also buys Talent for the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino Reggae Pool Parties every Summer. Associate Producer / Tour Manager / Event Host I carried out the orders from the Producer in the Santa Monica, CA office providing content for the #1 sellling lifestyle DVD in the country as well as for the hit reality TV show on Mark Cuban's HDnet Television, "Search for the Hottest Girl in America" Seasons 1 + 2. I carried out orders from the Booking Agent in the same office. Advancing shows, managing petty cash, tour accounting, event settlements, maintaining relations and communication with the Bus Driver and Film Crew. I was responsible for recruiting talent up to par with with the brand name and company standards. I traveled the country in one of the most famous Tour Buses in the Nation. Often 60-90 day runs with only a two week break in between, year 'round. I hosted events in virtually every major nightclub in the Mid-West and East Coast including Spring Break in South Padre Island and Daytona Beach, FL
Assistant to the owner of the Company. He produced 100-150 National Concerts per year in several different Markets from Lake Tahoe, CA/NV / Reno, NV, Sacramento, CA / Nevada City, CA / Grass Valley, CA / Redding, CA / Chico, CA / Ashland, OR / Medford, OR and more. I would accompany him on these tours with National Acts and work at his disposal from Box Office, Security, Production, Promotion, Management, ect. Renegade Productions also produced two very large scale annual Festivals, Reggae at the Lake and the Renegade Festival - both of which I was actively involved.
