Career Objective: To provide support for airport operations as well as safe, efficient, and world-class experiences for air travel passengers. In addition, provide FAA certified aviation ground instruction supported with AATD flight simulator scenarios.
I provide Central Office engineering support and capacity management to markets in the tw telecom SE region. This involves transport technologies including Ethernet, SONET, and DWDM solutions for the entire suite of tw telecom products. I work directly with the COE, and network technicians in the evaluation, purchase, installation, configuration, and turnup of telecom transport equipment in 11 tw markets. I am also the designated Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for NAO engineering support for the Overture product line as well as video/voice applications and other access products. I am responsible for the support and design of complex end to end customer solutions for the NAO organization in the Central Region. The solutions envolve a wide variety of technical challenges that require a vast knowledge of the TWTC product suite and the IP, Metro and DWDM network platforms that provide the delivery of the above products. I am also responsible for all VoIP complex solutions and support. I am a member of the VoIP approval teams that research, review and verify all IP Trunks and DSIP opportunities delivered by the NAO. I have developed job aid documents that target the quoting process for Lucent WSM and Cisco 15454 MSTP, and 15216 external filter DWDM and CWDM solutions. I have also provided VoIP training to the NAO/NSE/NIE teams so that they may support the IP Trunk and DSIP product lines.
I am part of the technical engineering team that developed and tested VoIP applications (IP Trunks and DSIP) that layer on top of existing TWTC transport and Sonus switch infrastructure services. Previous to VoIP application development, I developed and created the Architecture and Application Guidelines for Sonus ISDN PRI Internet offload as well as two way digital PBX applications. My responsibilities and experience include original selection of the Sonus platform, developing product requirements, development and testing of the product in the TWTC labs as well as the TWTC field. In addition I have worked on the Communication Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) requirements for the emerging technology.
